Well i have to thank core who is the ticket closing machine in our team – while my part here at muddle-code is more or less to create all those evil tickets in the first place ;)

After 87 closed tickets since 0.4.0 we can announce ANGER 0.5. While the game itself is still in the closed development phase we are looking forward a version 0.6.0 which might be a first public release.

Changes

This new milestone includes 71 new tickets.

The following list contains some of the big new improvements

  • enemy landing ability
  • MainMenu with keyboard control
  • 2 Mini-Weapons (auto-controlled towers)
  • location briefing
  • energy handing (player life)
  • new upper info area
  • new enemies
  • … and much more

It’s time for milestone 0.3 – which brings a lot of new features to ANGER.

ANGER 0.3 Core-functions

  • New Game-Design/Look
  • Basic intro
  • Basic mainmenu
  • Basic player profiles support (game progress is saved)
  • Scoring system & game-wide highscore
  • Support for individual campaigns with random amount of stages, background, enemies & player position etc
  • 1 default (cannon) & 5 buy weapons (blast, slow-motion, wind, pyro, protection
  • 4 enemies (soldier,kamikaze,tank, freeze)
  • Pause on mouse focus change

Daniel just finished the work on our second ANGER milestone (0.2.0) which means we have the following core-functions working

  • Basic Intro
  • Basic MainMenu
  • Basic Player Profile Support
  • Basic Score-System
  • Basic Campaign/Location Support
  • 3 different enemies
  • 1 default & 2 buy-weapons

So milestone 0.2 covers the basic functions we need for our upcoming ideas in ANGER – while most of the planned gameplay is not yet implemented.
